Regional and Administrative Skills (RMAS) Training IV Highlights

More strategic and efficient plans that will aid for greater church expansion is now ready for implementation.

Jesus Is Lord National Operation (NATOP) conducted its Regional and Management Administrative Skills (RMAS) Training Level 4 on May 31 to June 02, 2011 at Galilee Resort and Hotel, Bustos, Bulacan. The training focused on the proper execution of the strategies in line with the over-all operations of the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide.

Sis. Carmen and Bro. Rene Gonzales of the Office of the Strategy Management (OSM), the key speakers of the training, shared their knowledge about the strategies in planning and effective execution of plans.

Attendees of the said event are the Regional and Area Pastors of Luzon.

As her introduction, Key Speaker Sis. Carmen Gonzales said that 60-90% of organizations fail due to disconnected plans, incoherent strategies to the organization’s needs, and the unfamiliarity of the members with the over-all operations of the organization.

The first module discussed strategic planning and the execution of plans.

Much emphasis were given on the importance and use of the 7 Key Strategies of the JIL Church namely: 1. Intimate relationship with God; 2. Strengthen JIL 12 and Shepherding Ministry; 3. Massive evangelism, mission, and saturation church planting; 4. Strengthen church management; 5. Expand social responsibility through iCare; 6. Upgrade tangible and uniform facilities; and 7. Maximize utilization of multi-media facilities, and its Mission, Vision, and Core Values statement.

Each key strategy was thoroughly explained, including the primary tools required, the key players, and the measurements that link the plans to their respective strategy.

The comprehension of the pastors in conceptualizing and analyzing was put to test in the workshop conducted so as to assess if the pastors fully understood the essence of the strategies in developing strategic plans and effectively executing it.

The second module discussed the leadership behaviors necessary in strategic plan execution, and the right heart and attitude to possess in acquiring maximum target output.

The training helped the pastors enhance their ability to execute and translate the strategies in operational terms such that even in church-level, cascading of the definitions down to the grassroot level structure will be easier and more comprehensible. This training has also stretched out their gift and capacity in terms of strategic planning and effective execution.

All glory be to God!
