Everyone is vulnerable to pain.
Through the past months, no one can deny that it has been part and parcel of our Christian life. No matter who we are, where we reside or what we do, we are definitely vulnerable to it. This is the reality on this fallen earth; pain is an inevitable part of our lives.
We come to the point of physical pain, being, time and time again, burdened by sicknesses and diseases. In such instances, we feel the urgent need to seek medical help in order to prevent our condition from getting worse. But the pain that we experience in life is not only what affects physical body. The truth is, we are also not immune to emotional pain. Though physically strong, we are brought to our knees by the pain that troubles our inner beings. Most of the time, emotional distresses, such as discouragement and hopelessness, turn out to be far weightier burdens to bear.
